At Holistic Maintenance Services Ltd, our Janitorial Custodians are essential to creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients. You will be responsible for daily cleaning and sanitation duties, ensuring that all assigned spaces meet HMSL’s high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. 

Requirements

  • Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and best practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and cleaning checklists efficiently
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Professional attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a small team
  • Police certificate of good character may be required

  • Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and wash areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
  • Wipe down windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces
  • Dust furniture, vents, ledges, and other surfaces
  • Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled or emergency basis
  • Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report when restocking is needed
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, especially in sanitation and disinfection services
